ការប្រកួតជម្រើសជើងឯក ខេមបូឌានព្រីមៀរលីគ ឆ្នាំ២០២៦/២៧ បានចាប់ផ្តើមកាលពីថ្ងៃទី៥ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ដោយមានក្រុមចំនួន ១០ បានចូលរួមប្រកួត ខណៈក្រុមមួយត្រូវសម្រាក។ សប្តាហ៍ទី១ បានផ្តល់នូវការចាប់ផ្តើមដ៏គួរឱ្យចាប់អារម្មណ៍សម្រាប់រដូវកាលថ្មី ដោយមានការប្រកួតប្រជែងយ៉ាងស្វិតស្វាញ ការគាំទ្រយ៉ាងច្រើនពីអ្នកគាំទ្រ។

In CPL week 1, two clubs earn three points, while six share one
Cambodian Premier League 2026-27 season kicked off on 5 September 2026, with ten clubs having played and one club having a bye. Week 1 delivered an encouraging start to the new season, with competitive matches, strong fan support, and several standout individual performances.
Week 1 delivered an exciting start, with Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC and Visakha FC the only teams to begin with wins. ISI Dangkor Senchey FC, Boeung Ket, NagaWorld, Phnom Penh Crown, MOI Kampong Dewa, and Angkor Tiger each earned a point from draws.
Across five matches, a total of 7,300 fans turned up to support their teams, led by 2,536 at Akihiro Kato Stadium and 2,189 at Smart Stadium. Man of the Match honors went to Takuto, Jefferson, Sieng Chanthea , Nieto Rondon, and Daikite Lancine.
In front of goal, Nieto Rondon, Hav Soknet, Sieng Chanthea, and Daikite emerged as the week's top scorers. One of the most entertaining matches saw ISI Dangkor Senchey fight back from 3 goals down to draw with Boeung Ket.
Speaking after the match, head coach Conor Nestor expressed disappointment with the result but praised his players' character. "We always want to win at home," he said, adding that his team is still adjusting after significant changes but promised performances will get better.
In Week 2, ISI Dangkor Senchey is scheduled to face Kirivong Sok Sen Chey at Smart Stadium, and Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng will play Royal Cambodian Armed Forces FC at Svay Rieng Stadium. Angkor Tiger FC vs. Phnom Penh Crown, Visakha vs. MOI Kampong Dewa, and NagaWorld vs. Life FC Sihanoukville are some of the other important matches.
Week 2 is set to feature challenging matchups as clubs aim to gain early momentum in the race for the Cambodian Premier League title.
