The home team, Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng, suffered their first loss of the 2024/25 Cambodian Premier League in Week 6, losing 3–2 to Phnom Penh Crown at Morodok Techo National Stadium last night.
Phnom Penh Crown took the lead in the 42nd minute by Sa Ty. In the 63rd minute, CRISTIAN scored one goal, but just two minutes later, in the 65th minute, PEPRAH KWAME scored one goal that led Svay Rieng back in front 2–1. Only a minute after that, in the 66th minute, MAKERLO earned one more goal for Phnom Penh Crown, leading 2–2. The match continued intensely until the 90+9 minute, when Phnom Penh Crown was awarded a penalty, and DYER converted it to make it 3–2—the winning goal.
This victory moved Phnom Penh Crown up to second place on the table with 11 points, while Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng, despite the home loss, remained at the top of the table with 15 points, just four points ahead of the second-place team.
